My Individual Reflections

        Hello again my fellow readers! It's really nice to finally meet you again in this blog. Today, I'm about to do something completely different from all of my other blog, because I'm about to share with you guys about my reflections, what I've been learned for the past one semester and other small silly things. It's actually kind of sad to know how fast this one semester flies, it felt like I was just attending my first class but now it's possibly the last time attending my class. Well, at least for this semester of course

        At first, I was not used to reading, because personally I didn't like reading books at all, but in this class I'm getting used to reading a bunch of stories, some of them are short and some of them are incredibly long, but I managed to read it all. For the listening I don't that shocked because I already used to listen to the music and I listen to the YouTube videos.

        I think listening and reading in English is really fun to learn, I enjoyed it very much especially in English, but I enjoyed listening way more than reading, because sometimes when I read a long book I easily getting bored and loosing interest. But if I do listening its way fun, because somebody already read the text for me, so I don't have to read the long text.

        Now I felt like slowly getting used to reading bunch of long texts and storied that I never taught I will be able to read it all. It was nice experience to push myself from the comfort zone and force myself to be able to read more and more text. For the listening, I'm still enjoying reading so much! 

        Yeah, after all this months of learning in ICC Class I know how important listening and reading is in my daily life as a English education student. And how important to practice English reading and listening frequently. Because of that I will keep learning English reading and listening, I will read as much books and story as I could in order to maintenance my English skill. Thankyou for this amazing semester! It was fun and I really enjoyed it so much! Bonus meme!

Project #4 An Interview With Partner

        Hi everyone! Welcome back to my pinky blog. In this blog i would like to share our great teamwork that we have been done, Dimas and I already picked one of the story in the english-e-reader.net and the story has a level of B2 Intermediate+ and this story has 5484 total of words, and the best part is this story has a detective genre! which is personally my favorite genre. Without further a do this story titled "A taste Of Murder" and this story is written by a talented writer Sue Arengo. This story has a good storyline but also has its flaw. And 

        Now, I Will tell everyone about the story. I wont tell the whole story because i want to make you guys curious and read it yourself, here we go! Once upon a time, there is a nursing agency that send Anne Harrison to go into the house of a famous writer to take care of her. The famous writer's name is Kitty Blakemore, his husband is out of the city to go to work and left her in his big and fancy house, with a group of people to take care of her. Few days after Anne arrived, Mrs. Kitty Blakemore died and Anne called the police to find the suspect. Can the police found who is the murderer? or no one can find the motive of this case? you must find out yourself.

ICC Individual report #5 Sketch It!

      

            Hello there my fellow readers! How is your days going? I hope you guys having a great day, in this blog i am going to share to you guys about this fantasy story that comes from the land of Denmark. In my opinion, this is a interesting story and in fact this story has its own movie, this story is the story of "Beowulf" and its written by Robert Hill and it has 7180 word count at the level of B2 Intermediate+. There are a few difficult words to understand but overall the story is quite interesting and enjoyable to read.

            This story is telling about the mighty Bewoulf come to King Hrodgar's kingdom to kill the two evil monsters that has been threatening the kingdom for a long time. And, telling the last battle that the mighty Bewoulf has gone trough.

            The scene that I chose is this scene where the watchmen of the king Hrodgar see Beowulf from the big lighthouse as he comes from his kingdom to help King Hrodgar who still suffering because of the monsters terror. Honestly, I pick this scene because this scene is in my opinion is the simplest and the easiest to draw. and because my brother bought a new watercolor paint to play around, I decided to join with him to make my Individual report.

Additional Individual Report "Happy Prince"

         Hello everybody! How are you guys doing today? I hope you guys doing awesome, by the way I've been reading about this wonderful story titled "Happy Prince" written by famous Oscar Wilde. This amazing story has 250 headwords with starter level, but in my opinion anyone can read this amazing story because it is genuinely entertaining to read doesn't matter how old you are. 

        I am about to tell you people the short version of the story so in that way, all of you my fellow readers can understand why I chose one song for this story. Once upon a time when the summer about to end, there is a little swallow bird who is about to go Egypt before the cold autumn came. But the little swallow noticed that the golden statue Happy Prince were crying, and the swallow decided to assisting the prince helping the poor people in the town.

        The little Swallow fly above the city to give the poor people help, by giving them Happy Prince's precious ornament. As the day went by, the little swallow died from cold, and Happy Prince's lead heart broke into two pieces and turn into grey. Seeing the statue has become ugly, they take it down and melt it in a big furnace, but his lead heart can not be melted so he throw it away with the poor swallow. Little do they know, God has give them a special place in heaven, because of their good deeds.

       

 I chose this song titled "I Won't Give Up" by Jason Mraz because this song is very representing the Swallow and Happy Prince's spirit to do all the good deeds. They don't want the mayor's praise, all they want is to helping poor people so they can buy something to eat and wear something warm in the cold autumn with any cost. Because the one above is all knowing, they will get the best place in His place, Heaven

        

ICC Individual Report 4 : The Perfect Song | Listening

         Hi again there my fellow readers! In this blog I would like to share this story that I've been listening, this story is about gangs, its a pretty bad topic but I hope that your guys will be entertained by my blog. This story is called "Gangs" and its written by ELLLO with 518 word count and it has level of 13. And I think it was a very interesting story.

        This story is telling about Jeanie's experience living in the gangster neighborhood somewhere in Philadelphia. How is her live when living in those neighborhood, what happened when she lived there, and how she can stay alive living in those dangerous area. In fact Jeanie has been living in two different area with different type of crime and gangs.

        In my opinion, the most suitable song for this story is "Gangsta's Paradise" by Coolio ft. L.V. Because this song explain how the gang's member living their life with crime surrounding them, and it fits very good with the story. And in my mind this song is the only song that passed by my head. 

ICC Individual report 4 : The Perfect Song | Reading

         Hi again for the countless time! In this blog I will share to you guys about this unique story. This story is called "The Naked Cowboy" Yes, you read it right, it's about cowboy that is naked. This story is written by rong-chang with 150 word count and it stood with level 15. 

        So this story is telling about a very confident man, who wore his tight white underwear and cowboy hat while singing with his very American guitar. He did not wear anything else, and because of that many woman's and couples is taking picture with him and their boyfriend were taking the picture. His muscular body and appearance made him so recognizable, even sometime peoples pay him as much as $5 just to taking picture with him.

        And the perfect song for this story is "Sexy and I Know it" by LMFAO, I think this song is so perfect because both the person in the song and the story has no pudency what so ever. In fact, they were both naked in the public and letting people taking picture with them. I highly recommended NOT to, once again NOT to watch the video clip because it has a ton of explicit contents. 

ICC Individual Project 2 Listening

         Hi readers! this is my listening project, I will tell you a glimpse about the story that I've heard. This story is titled "Class Crush" by ELLLO with level of 14 and 390 number of words. I've listened to this story for about 4 minutes and I concern most boys will or have been on his position. 

        This story is about George who has a crush on his classmates, he wanted to date her but he has no idea what to do. So George asked his friend Crystal for advice, she tells him what to do and where to go. She also tell George what he must ask on his first date.

        I chose this quote because personally I think this quote is highly motivating and sounds really cool. In the story, Crystal said it to George when he asked her what to do when he is about to date her. I've made my bookmark to look really spot on so it gives more motivating vibes. and I really like my own bookmark because I think it is very me.
